Furnishings & Décor

After nearly two years of planning and construction, the owners of this modern Oregon coast home invited us to help complete the interiors with furnishings that would bring their vision fully to life. Guided by an “inside out” design philosophy, the goal was to create spaces that feel calm, grounded, and deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.

Inspired by the sandy dunes and wind-swept seagrass just beyond the home, we developed a materials palette that is neutral yet richly textured - softening the crisp white walls and polished concrete floors with warmth and subtle contrast. Anchoring the living room is a custom 15-foot walnut and black leather floating media cabinet, handcrafted by Oregon artisan Chaz Gibbins of Imago Furniture. Designed to accommodate a short-throw projector, the piece elegantly resolves the challenge of a wide wall punctuated by three high windows, while providing space for books, artwork, and game storage.

Walnut and leather details are echoed in the kitchen counter stools, reinforcing continuity throughout the main living spaces. An oversized sectional encourages relaxed, conversational seating, while an oval swivel chair creates a quieter, more intimate moment near the wood-burning fireplace and front window.
